This is just me and my opinions on the soaps that I watch.

I've been thinking for a while now that they've turned Gwen's character into a "Perils of Pauline" type.  It was never more evident than today, complete with the tied up on the train tracks with the train coming.  Sheesh...  I want to see Gwen get some sass back.  I'm tired of seeing her in one life threatening and/or tragic situation after another.  Give her something exciting and fun to do.  Let her break bad on someone, do something other than be a victim. 

On another note, am I the only ATWT viewer on the board that's also a Monty Python fan, or what? 

Sorry for my general lack of updates.  I was walking down the stairs and my right foot slipped off one of the steps (luckily I was close to the bottom of the stairs) and down I went.  Most of the impact was absorbed by my butt, but I did manage to sprain my left ankle pretty badly.  They have me in a "soft cast" which is basicly a gel padded splint, and walking around on crutches.  Let me tell ya, I'm entirely too fat to be hoisting myself around on crutches.  Of course the doctor has me on Percoset for the pain, which is the reason for my lack of updates.  I've been sleeping through most of my soaps.   

Well, anyway...  Thought I'd just drop in and let you all know that I haven't just dropped off the face of the earth.  Will be back to posting regularly as soon as I can. 

Oh wow, so many characters I miss!  Bridgett, Mindy, Nick, Hamp, David, Hart (poor Hart... he was a little shit in this storyline, but he turned out to be a fairly nice guy by the time Dinah offed him), Nadine (oh how I miss Nadine) Kat, HB, and so many others I haven't seen in years.  Many thanks to ClassicGL and their wonderful collection of GL storylines. 

Have you seen the promo's for the new primetime series, "Moonlight"?  I love vampire shows.  I can't help it.  Fangs turn me on.  Always have...  "The Lost Boys", back in the 80s was better than porn for me.  All those pretty, long haired men with fangs...  Yeah, I know I'm a bit twisted but what did you expect with a screen name like "Maharet".
